Hi, I'm Lizette.
Your officiant, and on Tenerife also your wedding planner, fluent in Dutch, English and Spanish. I believe in connection, above all: with each other, with your guests, with who you are together. No standard format, no formal tone: a ceremony with a touch of humour and just enough character that people say afterwards: this was truly theirs.
Whatever you choose, just the ceremony or the full organisation alongside it, your focus stays on love, calm and connection. The rest is up to me.
I've been leading wedding ceremonies for several years, starting just before the pandemic, after already having led ceremonies for family and friends before that. The pandemic put things on hold for a while; for the past few years I've picked it back up fully and professionally. What I learned in that time: a ceremony only really works when you listen beyond the ready-made answers.
I don't believe in weddings by format. I believe in listening, truly listening, until I hear what makes your story unique, and then turning that into words that you, your parents, and maybe even your children, can still retell years later.
I'm fluent in Dutch, English and Spanish, and a ceremony in German is possible too. Combining several languages within one ceremony is also possible, which is exactly what makes it valuable for international couples.

The Wall of Connection
The Wall of Connection is a stylish ceremony backdrop, dressed with luxurious silk flowers, that becomes part of your wedding setting, often behind the couple and the officiant. During the day, your guests write personal wishes on cards and tie them to the wall with ribbons, so that a wall full of love and connection literally grows throughout the day.
Afterwards, you take the cards home in a luxurious keepsake box: a tangible memory of everyone who was there. At the moment, the Wall of Connection is primarily offered for ceremonies in the Netherlands, available from 1 November 2026.

Tenerife feels like a second home to me: I visit often, have friends living there, and feel a strong connection to the island, its people and Spanish culture. At the same time, I'm based in the Netherlands. That combination, truly at home in both places without depending on just one of them, is exactly why mixed and international couples often find their way to me.
A family talking over each other in three languages at the reception isn't something I need to picture. That's familiar ground for me.

This way I keep oversight of quality and reliability, even from the Netherlands. I'm there during the ceremony
Once it comes to the ceremony itself, I arrange everything around my role as officiant: you only need to be present, and maybe wipe away a tear. How much else is already arranged for you depends on your choice: with Ceremony you arrange the rest yourselves, with Wedding Guidance with my advice alongside you, and with Full Destination Wedding I take over that full organisation too.
